Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: The Cardboard Castle, 15 Chaffinch Road, Hobsonville Point
Instructor: Terri Papagiannis

Programme Overview:

Welcome to Abstract Adventure – Shapes in Motion! Today, children will explore the world of abstract art through bold colors, playful shapes, and energetic patterns, inspired by the fun and vibrant works of contemporary artist Jen Stark. Known for her colorful, mesmerizing patterns and kaleidoscopic shapes, Stark's work will guide kids in creating dynamic, abstract pieces that celebrate color and movement. Through layering, shapes, and color combinations, children will have the freedom to express themselves in bold and exciting ways. After a creative morning in the studio, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at Hobsonville Point Waterpark, just steps from the studio. The afternoon will feature either a collaborative abstract project or free-choice time to continue exploring their favorite techniques. With a small class size of 8-10 children, every young artist will have the space to fully dive into their artistic journey.

What to Bring:

  • Packed morning tea and lunch

  • Appropriate outdoor clothing

  • Water bottle

  • Clothes that can get messy

Pricing:

$85 for the full day, including all materials.
