Programme Overview:

Unleash your creativity in Bold Expressions – Layers of Color and Pattern! Inspired by the vibrant, layered artwork of Lisa Congdon (source: lisacongdon.com), this programme uses her playful and colorful style as a jumping-off point for children to explore their own ideas.

Young artists will dive into a world of bold patterns, dynamic shapes, and unexpected color combinations. Through experimenting with layers and textures, kids will develop confidence in their creativity while learning how to bring their unique vision to life. The focus is on self-expression, process, and having fun with vibrant materials in a supportive, encouraging environment.

With a small class size of 8-10 children, each participant will have plenty of space and guidance to create something uniquely their own while enjoying the inspiration of a celebrated contemporary artist.

What to Bring:

  • Packed morning tea and lunch

  • Comfortable outdoor clothing, sunscreen, and a hat

  • Water bottle

  • Clothes that can get messy

Pricing:

$85 for the full day, including all materials.

Hi, I’m Terri Papagiannis, and I’m passionate about helping kids explore their creativity and artistic potential. With over 15 years of experience teaching art, I focus on creating fun, process-oriented programmes where every child feels valued and inspired. At The Cardboard Castle, we celebrate each child’s unique artistic journey.

What happens if the weather is bad during outdoor activities?
We’ll move lunch indoors and adapt activities to ensure the day remains fun and engaging.

Can I cancel my registration?
The program is non-refundable, but if your child cannot attend due to illness or an emergency, you can transfer to a future programme.

Will the art projects change?
Art projects are intentionally flexible to encourage spontaneous creativity and adapt to the group’s needs.
